( Over-the-Rhine ) - Over the next three days, film buffs will have the chance to view 121 different feature films, sit in on screen play readings, and more; as the Cindependent Film Festival gets underway Thursday.
Festival Founder and Creative Director Allyson West says, " I realized there was a lot of incredible energy behind independent film making in Cincinnati, but nobody really harnessing that and focusing it... and doing a citywide multi-genre film festival."
West says that was her motivation for putting together the Cindependent Film Festival.
Screenings will take place at the Mini Microcinema and Woodward Theater in O-T-R.
