( Erlanger, Kentucky ) - Police were called to a crash involving a school bus on Wednesday morning, and the woman accused of being behind the wheel of the other vehicle is now facing multiple charges.
31-Year-Old Brittany Everhart of Independence allegedly crashed into the bus on Turkeyfoot Road near Misty Creek Drive just before 8am. The bus had eight students on-board at the time, and police say neither they nor the school bus driver were hurt. Everhart was taken to the hospital for injuries she sustained in the crash.
On Wednesday afternoon, police released a statement saying that Everhart is charged with OVI and nine counts of wanton endangerment.
