Cincinnati Facing Court Challenge over Homeless Camps

The city of Cincinnati is set to remove tents from a homeless colony along Third Street today but the city could be blocked from taking any action by a federal court. A group representing the homeless have filed a lawsuit against the city in U.S. District Court to try and stop the crackdown.

The Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition is asking the court to issue a restraining order that would stop city crews from removing the homeless who pitched tents along Third Street. The removal is supposed to start at 2pm, stay tuned for additional details.
