( Whitewater Twp ) - An underage teen is in custody, charged with multiple counts for allegedly touching girls at a Kroger.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the store on State Route 128 just after 10pm Sunday night. A 17-year-old boy is accused of touching the buttocks of an 11 and 12-year-old girl in the store. He then is accused of approaching a 10-year-old girl, grabbing her crotch and trying to pick her up. A statement from the sheriff says that attempt didn't work, so he grabbed the girl by the arm and tried to take her out of the store. The child was able to escape and tell her mother.
The teen tried to run in the parking lot, but was stopped by people and held until deputies arrived.
The suspect is charged with attempted abduction and three counts of gross sexual imposition.
