Hamilton County Court Worker Pleads Guilty To Charges

(Cincinnati) – A longtime employee with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts admitted she shared confidential information in a drug investigation last year today in court.

Yamyka Boyd pleaded guilty to two felonies, Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Charles Kubicki’s office says.  They were for tampering with evidence and bribery.

The investigation into Boyd began in October of last year.  She was arrested in November 2017.

Boyd worked for the Clerk of Courts for 22 years.  The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says she took documents and gave them to people targeted in a drug investigation.

They say some of the information was personal information about police officers, which could’ve put them in danger.

Her sentencing is set for July 31.
