( Union Twp ) - A tragic end to an already shockingly sad story.
Police and EMTs were called to a home on Old State Rte 74 near Tealtown Rd on Tuesday afternoon for reports that a 10-month-old had been run over by a vehicle in the driveway. An update from Union Twp police says that baby died Tuesday evening.
The incident is still under investigation, but police reportedly believe the child's mother put the infant's car seat down on the driveway while she strapped in another child, and possibly forgot the baby was not in the vehicle. There's no word yet if any charges will be filed.
