It's Official: FC Cincinnati Wants a Training Facility in Milford

( Cincinnati ) - Following our report last week about FC Cincinnati looking to build its training complex in Milford, the team issued a statement on Tuesday confirming the plans.

"FC Cincinnati has agreed to enter into an agreement, pending final local government approval, with the City of Milford, Clermont County" and other government agencies to build a $30 million training complex in Milford. The team says the site is on Lila Ave near I-275 where the Expressway Park softball complex currently sits.

FCC says it expects things to be fully operational by July 2019. In addition to training and serving as a headquarters, the club also plans on hosting multiple soccer-related events there every year, including scrimmages and local soccer tournaments.
