Local Firefighter Dead After An Accident Sunday

(700 WLW)- A firefighter is dead after he was critically injured after working on some compressed air cylinders Sunday afternoon. The firefighter's name has not been released but he worked with the Paint Creek Joint EMS & Fire District. The accident occurring at the Rainsboro station Sunday, when he suffered the fatal injuries. He was airlifted to Kettering Medical Center and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Highland County Sheriff's Department continue their investigation.
