KSP: Two-Year-Old in Hot Car Pronounced Dead

( Crittenden, Kentucky ) - Kentucky State Police are investigating after a child pulled from a hot car was pronounced dead on Saturday evening.

Troopers were sent to Big Bear Circle around 6pm on reports of a 2-year-old unresponsive after being pulled out of a Mercury Grand Marquis. Despite life-saving efforts, the little girl was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

There have been reports that the child was hot to the touch when she was taken from the car, but autopsy results are pending. Investigators have not said how the child came to be in the car by herself or for how long she may have been inside.
