( Burlington, Kentucky ) - An ex-boyfriend of the Boone County mother who was killed in March is now accused of killing her and her child.
Police have arrested 48-year-old Joshua Ward, charging him in the shooting deaths of 31-year-old Kelli Kramer and 9-year-old Aiden Kramer, according to the Boone County Sheriff. Their bodies were found on March 20 in Burlington in an apartment with multiple gunshot wounds.
Ward was allegedly involved in a relationship with Kramer for about six months into May, 2017. The sheriff’s office said Ward believed she was responsible for “destroying him.”
Police arrested Ward, of Forest Park, during a traffic stop at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning.
