FC Cincinnati has been working on winning a franchise for three years and a celebration is now planned for Rhinegeist Brewery in Over-the-Rhine at 5:30pm Tuesday May 29th. The team will pay $150 million for the franchise and then will spend another $200 million to build a brand new soccer stadium in the West End.
A statement from FCC on Thursday afternoon promises a "special event" with the Major League Soccer Commissioner, Don Garber.
