(Colerain Township, OH.)--Police say he raped her and then set her home on fire.
A Mount Healthy man is behind bars today for an attack that happened overnight in Colerain Township.
Johnny Richardson, 52, was arrested after police responded to a sexual assault call around 9 P.M. Sunday at a home in the 2400 block of Aquarius Drive. When they arrived they found Richardson hiding in a bedroom in the back of the house, he was taken into custody. Police inspecting the house after Richardson was secured, noticed smoke in the back bedroom and called in the fire department.
Three officers were taken to the hospital after the arrest to be treated for smoke inhalation. They were released shortly after.
Richardson is charged with one count each of rape and abduction and three counts of aggravated arson.
