Attny: 'Country Corner' Owners Deny Food Stamp Fraud Allegations

( Over-the-Rhine ) - The owners of the Findlay Market shop that was stormed by federal agents last week deny all allegations of food stamp fraud.

A statement from attorneys representing Amanda and Michael Busch, owners of Busch’s Country Store, says the allegations about them are unfair and untrue. “Busch’s stands on principle of defending itself and looks forward to continuing to serve its customers as it works to clear its good name and hold accountable those who are responsible for causing these false allegations to be made against the business,” Benjamin Dusing wrote.

A federal search warrant was served for food stamp trafficking at the Findlay Market store on May 10. The search lasted nearly three hours.
