UC: White Nationalist Drops Lawsuit

( Cincinnati ) - White nationalist leader Richard Spencer will not be speaking at the University of Cincinnati.

President Neville Pinto released a statement Wednesday to say representatives of Spencer have dropped they lawsuit they filed against U.C.

Spencer had approached the university about speaking on campus last year, and U.C. proposed a date during the school’s spring break. The university asked Spencer to sign the school’s rental agreement and pay a security rental fee of $10,000 and his representatives refused.

They filed a lawsuit to fight that fee, and it was dismissed Wednesday.

Pinto said in Wednesday's release that the controversy surrounding Spencer’s possible visit has only made the school stronger.
