( Cincinnati ) - All Cincinnati streetcar stations should be fully functional for riders this spring.
Repairs to Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar stations and ticket vending machines were completed on time last month, officials with the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority say.
Streetcar stations needed concrete work, weather proofing and work on ticket vending machines. These repairs took place from February 18 to March 8 and were completed by both SORTA and SORTA contractors.
Ticket vending machines take credit cards, cash, and Metro stored value cards, but riders can also pay for their fare using the free Cincy EZRide app, available on iTunes and GooglePlay.
Customers can use the streetcar for various activities downtown, at The Banks or in Over-The-Rhine.
