(Hamilton Co. , OH) - The new public emergency notification system, Alert Hamilton County, is an opt-in notification tool that will allow for Hamilton County residents to be notified of emergencies, imminent threats, and other life-saving information by text, e-mail, or voice message. Sign up here.
The Hamilton County 911 system has also been upgraded. The upgraded capabilities of the Communications Center is due to the software, Smart911.
It allows residents the opportunity to share vital information with 911 operators about special needs family members.
