( Covington, KY ) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says Roebling Bridge was damaged after a car struck one of the vertical members Tuesday night.
The bridge will remain closed until the repairs are made. Initial estimates were that the bridge would be shut down for about a week, but now Nancy Wood with KTC says there is no timeline.
Drivers are encouraged to use either the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge, or the Taylor-Southgate Bridge as a detour.
The pedestrian sidewalks on the Roebling bridge will remain open.
