Joseph's Legacy officials say Sasha has a number of health problems, including a skin infection, a hernia and damage to her ears.
Sasha was the only one of five dogs who survived horrific abuse at a Middletown home last month.
Police have charged 39-year-old Tina Marie Jackson after the dogs were found in the backyard of a home on Oxford State Road.
