Monroe Police Seek Accreditation, Ask For Public Input

(Monroe, OH) - The Monroe Police Department is seeking Accreditation through the Commission on Accredited Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Assessors for CALEA will be in Monroe next week to ensure compliance with CALEA accreditation standards. The Assessors will review the agency's policies, practices, interview personnel, and observe operations. 

As part of the assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments at a public information session on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. The session will be conducted at the Monroe City Building, 233 S. Main St. Monroe, Ohio 45050 in the City Council Chambers.
