( Reading ) - Reading Schools cancelled classes on Tuesday after a threat was made online by a teen. Police say 18-year-old Scott Napier "did cause serious public inconvenience by threatening to commit an offense of violence by threatening to shoot up Reading High School."
Napier is not a student at Reading High School. He's charged with inducing panic and drug-related charges after police say they found less than 100 grams of marijuana.
Superintendent Chuck LaFata posted a statement saying Reading Schools are taking threats seriously and that "making threats on social media will not be tolerated."
