( Florence, Kentucky ) - Police say they caught an inmate on Sunday who had been on the run for months.
37-Year-Old Anthony Howard (pictured) allegedly walked away from a work detail at the Boone County Jail on October 23. It was reported at the time he may be in a black Chevy truck. on Sunday, February 25, police in Florence observed a vehicle matching that description at the McDonald's on Dream Street. Following a traffic stop, police say Howard was taken into custody without incident.
Howard is now charged with escape on top of the charge of heroin trafficking that he was in jail for in the first place.
