(Butler County, OH) - Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones is offering free concealed carry classes for teachers in the county. He stated on social media that the classes would also cover training on school shootings. Jones said he is offering the session to 50 candidates.
Jones said teachers who are interested should email your full name, school affiliate, and contact information to ccwclass@butlersheriff.org.
He said the Butler County Sheriff's Office will contact those who apply with the date and time of the class.Proof of employment and ID are required to be considered for the class. Any employee of any school in Butler County may apply.
Anyone who is not a teacher in Butler County, but is still interested in getting a CCW license can attend classes at the Butler County Sheriff's Department.
