( Cincinnati ) - In the aftermath of Wednesday's school shooting in Florida, the superintendent of Cincinnati Public Schools is trying to reassure local parents.
Superintendent Laura Mitchell released the above letter, detailing current security protocols for all of the schools in the district. She also discusses the safety task force she formed this past fall, to evaluate safety and develop new strategies.
Mitchell tells parents that she herself has a child attending a Cincinnati Public School, and she understands their concerns.
