Pounds of Meth, Heroin Seized in Major Drug Bust

( Hamilton County ) - The sheriff is announcing a major drug bust that now has seven people facing charges.

A statement from Sheriff Jim Neil says investigators got a tip about an intricate drug network in October 2017. Suspects would allegedly travel to Los Angeles, buy drugs, then ship them back to the Cincinnati area and sell them. Last week, search warrants were executed at multiple locations, and the sheriff says over a million dollars in cash and drugs were seized.

Agents allegedly seized $100,000 cash, 23 pounds of crystal meth (allegedly worth a million dollars), over 9 pounds of heroin/fentanyl (allegedly worth $600,000), 1,100 heroin/fentanyl pills disguised as oxycodone (allegedly worth $31,000), and 12 guns.

Seven individuals were arrested (pictured at the top), all charged with drug possession and trafficking among other counts. Also arrested but not pictured was 26-year-old Molly Manning.
