School Board To Hear Soccer Stadium Plan

(Cincinnati, Oh.)  --  FC Cincinnati officials will address concerns about a proposed West End stadium plan tonight.

The team's president Jeff Berding is scheduled to present a stadium plan to the Cincinnati school board tonight and field residents' questions.  The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Interactive Learning Center in the Ronan Education Center at 2651 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati. You can view the meeting on-line here

The soccer club would like to transform Stargell Stadium next to Taft High School into its new home but the proposal has already met with opposition.

Tentative plans call for a 200 million dollar stadium on Cincinnati Public Schools-owned property near Taft High School.  Berding walked the neighborhood over the weekend to address some of the concerns that have been raised.

Meanwhile two proposed Sites in Oakley and Newport remain in play.
