School Threat Leads To Arrest In Covington

(Covington, KY) - Covington Police are investigating a threat made toward Holmes High School through social media. Investigators were altered Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Police reported that these threats were very serious in nature and officers began an investigation immediately upon notification of the threat. 

Covington investigators identified a juvenile as a suspect and took the youth into custody around 3:45 p.m. Sunday. The juvenile is currently at the Campbell County Juvenile Detention Facility on the charge of Terroristic Threatening in the 2nd Degree. 

Police report they are confident that there is no longer an active threat against the school or its students, faculty or staff, and that there are no other individuals involved in this threat.
