Police Arrest Suspect in Pedestrian Hit/Skip

( South Fairmont ) - Cincinnati Police say they arrested a man on Friday who's accused of driving away from the scene of a pedestrian strike on Thursday evening.

Around 8pm Thursday, police say a 64-year-old man was crossing Harrison Ave near Fairmount Ave, allegedly against the light, when he was struck by a car. 40-Year-Old Nicholas Watson (pictured) was allegedly driving that car and he allegedly kept on driving after the collision.

Police say the 64-year-old man was laying in the street when he was hit by another vehicle. He's in critical condition in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Watson was arrested on Friday. He's charged with failing to stop after an accident.
