(Florence, Ky.)--A woman crossing the street while walking her dogs is in critical condition today after she was stuck by a pick up truck.
Lori Tanabe, 48, of Florence, KY was walking across the street at Algiers St. and Rampart Way when Meagan Arbogast, 32, of Florence, KY proceeded to make a left turn striking Tanabe.
She was transported by Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition. Arbogast, the driver of the F150 and her juvenile passenger were not injured.
Tanabe's two dogs were not injured and were taken in by a neighbor. A preliminary investigation indicates that neither speed nor texting was involved with the accident. No charges have been filed at this time.
