(Middletown) A Franklin man has died after being struck by a pickup truck in Butler County.
Police say 56-year-old Eric Smith was hit on North Verity Parkway just after 4:30 Friday afternoon. He was found suffering from serious injuries and later died at the hospital.
Investigators say Smith was pulling a small children's wagon, but no one else was hurt.
The driver of the pickup truck is not expected to face any charges. The accident remains under investigation.
