( Hamilton County ) - A grand jury has indicted one of two suspects so far named and charged in the shooting death of a little girl in Mt Auburn a year ago.
19-Year-Old Ke'von Smith (pictured above) is under indictment on counts of murder, felonious assualt, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, having a weapon under disability, and kidnapping from an incident dating back to January 18, 2017. Investigators say on that day, Smith and Azuriah Hoskins were a part of a home invasion along Burnet Avenue that led to 9-year-old Alexandrea Thompson being fatally shot.
No indictment has been filed yet against Hoskins. He was under 18 at the time the crime was committed, and there will be a hearing later this month to decide if he'll be tried as an adult.
