( Mt Auburn ) - Cincinnati Police say arrests have been made in a nearly year-old homicide.
18-Year-Old Azuriah Hoskins Jr (pictured left) and 19-year-old Ke'von Smith (pictured right) were arrested Wednesday, charged with the murder of a little girl.
On January 18, 2017, police were called to the area of Burnet Ave and Earnshaw on a report of a person shot. There, they found a man and his 9-year-old daughter suffering from gunshot wounds. The man survived, but the little girl, identified as Alexandria Thompson, died from her injuries.
A statement from police Wednesday night does not provide details of Hoskins or Smith's arrests. Hoskins was 17-years-old at the time of Thompson's death. He was arrested earlier this month on apparently unrelated charges.
