Bengals Star Gives Super Bowl Tickets to Officer

(Cincinnati, OH)  --  A Cincinnati police officer is going to the Super Bowl with help from a Cincinnati Bengals star.

Defensive end Michael Johnson awarded the tickets this past weekend to Officer Eddie Hawkins to thank him for supporting community outreach efforts this past year.

The 30 year-old Johnson received the tickets as part of his nomination for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Johnson signed a four-year, $24 million contract with the Bengals in March, 2015.
