Longest-Serving Cincinnati Police Officer Retires

(Cincinnati, Oh) - The Cincinnati Police Department announced its longest-serving police officer will be working his final shift Thursday.  Sergeant Thomas Reid Junior is retiring after 45 years of service. Police leaders said the 66-year-old officer has worked the streets in Districts One, Two and Four while putting in time at the impound lot and in the communications department.
