( East Price Hill ) - The Hamilton County Coroner's office on Wednesday morning confirmed what many in the Elder High School community have been fearing for weeks: longtime computer high school teacher Mark Klusman has died.
The 74-year-old was working with a community cleanup group on December 9 near the intersection of Warsaw and Wilder when the pickup truck he was standing in was struck by a car. He was taken to UC Medical Center with what his family described as "multiple traumas to his body."
Klusman graduated from Elder in 1961 and has been a teacher there since 1966. He was an avid runner and was well-known as a volunteer in the Cincinnati area.
There's no word yet on memorial plans.
