( Avondale ) - Cincinnati Police say a suspect fired multiple shots at the UC Health Psychiatric Services building on Burnet near King on Wednesday afternoon before turning the gun on themselves.
Chief Eliot Isaac says that the gunman started firing at the entrance to the building around 2pm, wounding a security guard. Nearby police responded quickly, and the suspect allegedly shot at one of those Cincinnati police officers before eventually shooting themselves.
The chief says no officers fired at the suspect.
That suspect has not yet been identified, and there's no word on what his relationship is to the psychiatric facility.
