(700 WLW)- One of the largest school districts in the Tri State will not be adopting a gender equality policy. Lakota Local School District School board voted Monday night, 3 to 2 to reject the policy to take effect in Ohio's eighth largest school district. Lakota school board President Ben Dibble says the possible policy change did not stem from any particular incident but schools across the nation are discussing these issues.
