(Hamilton, OH) -- A Butler County corrections officer is accused of having sex with an inmate.
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones says former corrections officer Nakish Newell, 28, also brought contraband into the jail, including a cell phone and electronic cigarettes.
Newell was fired as soon as the accusations were brought to light.
She is charged with two third-degree felony counts of sexual battery and two misdemeanor counts of illegal conveyance.
