Soccer Stadium Plan Meets Opposition

(Cincinnati, OH)  --  Cincinnati City Council is set to vote on infrastructure funding for a new soccer stadium today amid opposition from Oakley neighborhood leaders.

The Oakley Community Council pulled their support for the financing plan Sunday night, saying it could hurt future development efforts.

City officials are planning to use available cash and development-related tax revenue to cover 37-million-dollars in road, parking and other improvements for FC Cincinnati's proposed stadium.
