( Cincinnati ) - Nearly five months after the death of a baby, police say that the child was the victim of a homicide.
Cincinnati Police released a statement on Monday saying that 15-month-old Elijah Obrecht was brought to the Christ Hospital emergency room on July 5 in an unresponsive state. Shortly after arriving, police say the child was pronounced dead.
Investigators now say the death has been ruled a homicide. No word yet on any possible charges.
