OCC Rejects Cincy's Proposed Oakley Development

(700 WLW)- The Board of Trustees of the Oakley Community Council has rejected Cincinnati Major John Cranley's proposed plan for the City of Cincinnati to assist with the financing of the Public Infrastructure Improvements in connection with the development of a "soccer" only stadium for FC Cincinnati on the proposed Oakley site. The Sunday nights announcement comes on the eve of the City Council's budget committee's meeting scheduled for Monday morning at 11 o'clock. At that meeting, the committee is expected to decide whether or not to spend $37 million of public money on stadium-related infrastructure.
