(Cincinnati, OH) -- A new memorial outside the Cincinnati Zoo honors the short life of a hit-and-run victim. Dozens of people turned out on Vine Street Sunday night to unveil a memorial bench for three-year-old Khloe Pitts.
The toddler was holding hands with her parents and crossing the street after the Festival of Lights last year when she was struck and killed.
Her family says the memorial stands as a tribute to Khloe's bright personality and to remind the community that life is sacred.
