(Hamilton, OH) -- The homeowner accused of arranging to have his house torched says he had nothing to do with it.
Lester Parker took the stand in his murder and arson trial yesterday, telling a jury that his daughters and other prosecution witnesses are lying about his role.
Parker is accused of hiring his nephew, Billy Tucker, to set fire to his house in 2015 to collect insurance money.
Hamilton firefighter Patrick Wolterman died while battling the blaze.
Parker and Tucker are looking at life in prison if they are convicted.
