Sheriff: Man Abducted at Gunpoint

( Sycamore Twp ) - The Hamilton County Sheriff says the victim is ok, and two men are in custody, charged with multiple counts including kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and extortion.

On Friday afternoon, Nathaniel and Roman Potter (pictured) allegedly kidnapped a man from the parking lot of his apartment on Kugler Mill Road east of Kenwood Road. Investigators say one of the suspects knocked on the man's door and told him his car was illegally parked. The sheriff says when he came outside, the man was abducted at gunpoint and his car was stolen.

Friends and family members of the alleged victim say they were contacted by the suspects, demanding money or drugs. Somehow, detectives were able to track them to Wunder Ave in Westwood around 11:30 Friday night, where the victim was allegedly found duct taped in a hood in the backseat of his stolen car. Despite that, the victim was not seriously hurt.

The Potters were arrested. The sheriff says this was not a random act of violence, and that the victim was specifically targeted.
