(Cincinnati) A security officer at the Veterans Administration hospital in Cincinnati has been given a dose of Narcan after police say he came into contact with an opioid.
It's still unclear how the officer came into contact with the drug. A drug-sniffing dog has been sent in to search the area.
The incident comes amid a public health alert in Hamilton County with a spike in overdoses over the weekend.
