(Cincinnati, OH) -- Futbol Club Cincinnati is planning the development of a soccer-specific stadium that would keep the proposed new venue in Cincinnati.

This week the FC Cincinnati President and General Manager Jeff Berding said he expects to finalize a stadium plan and present it to local officials next week.
FC Cincinnati is now committing 300-million-dollars in private money to the project, an increase of $50 million dollars in private money than was previously committed.
The club is still seeking 100-million-dollars in public support for the stadium that would now seat a minimum 25,000-seat fans for home games. The increase in seating would accommodate more fans for the extremely popular club, who on April 16, 2016, set the USL's regular season attendance record, with 20,497 fans in attendance at their current home in Nippert Stadium.
They broke this record twice more later in the season, first on May 14 with 23,375 attendees, then again on September 17 with an attendance of 24,376.
On July 20, with five games left, the club broke the USL's single season attendance record of 164,109 moving them past Sacramento Republic FC’s record of 158,516.
