A child is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Union Township Saturday evening. The child died Sunday. The victim was struck in the 1200 block of Summerside Road around 6 p.m. Saturday. Two other children were hurt. Both were transported to Anderson Mercy Hospital. One of the juveniles has since been released. The other juvenile was transported from Anderson Mercy to Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
