Black Friday Deals Already Starting

(Cincinnati, Oh.)--Several retailers are getting early start on the holiday shopping season.

Everything at Sears and Kmart is going on sale, as the company is touting the sale as "The Whole Store is On Sale."  The troubled retailer says it's getting a jump on the holiday season to help customers avoid a "Black Friday crunch."

It's promising discounts ranging from ten-percent to 50-percent at Sears stores and between ten-percent and 40-percent at Kmart stores.  The deals will run through Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.

Meanwhile Kohls is also getting a jump on the black Friday shopping season.

The clothing retailer announced its stores will open an hour earlier than last year for Black Friday.  All of its stores will open at 5:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Kohl's is betting on selling more active wear and home goods this holiday season. The retailer's holiday plan also features more ways for shoppers to earn Kohl's cash, heavier Black Friday promotions and in-store deals on Cyber Monday.

And also putting up a fight for consumers Christmas cash is Amazon. The online store is launching its "Black Friday Deals Store," which offers deals on everything from toys to electronics now through Black Friday.  The online store also features "Deals of the Day."  It's available at amazon-dot-com-slash-black-friday.
