Local Strip Club, Employees Under Indictment

( Warren County ) - The prosecutor says a grand jury has filed charges against a strip club and three of its employees after a nearly year-long drug investigation.

Prosecutor David Fornshell says plain-clothes officers started investigating the New York New York Cabaret in December of 2016 on reports of drug trafficking in the club. Investigators say 37-year-old Michael Reese, the night manager, would supply cocaine to 25-year-old Courtney Rogers, a dancer at the club. Rogers then allegedly sold the cocaine to customers. Both are charged with cocaine trafficking and possession. At least one of the drug sales allegedly happened in front of 27-year-old Mark Butterfield III, the day manager. He's charged with permitting drug abuse.

The club itself is under indictment on counts of trafficking, permitting drug abuse, and illegally operating a sexually oriented business for allegedly permitting nude dancing after midnight against Ohio law.

The prosecutor also says two other dancers pleaded guilty in Franklin Municipal Court to prostitution charges earlier this year.
