CBP: Cocaine Hidden in Cigars

( Cincinnati ) - A statement from US Customs and Border Protection on Thursday says agents in Cincinnati have seized two dozen pounds of cocaine hidden in shipments of cigars.

The statement says on October 18, a shipment invoiced as "cigars" sent from the Dominican Republic to New York was seized and allegedly had 18 pounds of cocaine hidden inside cigars. Then, a second shipment from the Dominican to New Jersey was seized on October 20 that allegedly had more than five pounds of cocaine inside. 

No arrests have been made.
