(700 WLW)- Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil reports a two vehicle serious injury traffic crash which ocurred in the 6200 Block of SR-32 (Batavia Pike) in Anderson Township, Wednesday evening a little after 7 o'clock.
A 2009 Kia Rio operated by Jamie Allen, female, age 22, of Cincinnati, Ohio was traveling eastbound in the 6200 Block of SR-32 (Batavia Pike) when Ms. Allen's vehicle traveled left of center and entered the westbound lane.
Ms. Allen's vehicle struck a 2006 Cheverolet Silverado, which was traveling westbound on SR-32 (Batavia Pike) in a head on manner. The Chevrolet Silverado was operated by Charles Hauger, male, age 48, of Dayton, Kentucky. Ms. Allen was mechanically extricated from her vehicle and was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by the Anderson Township Fire Department. Ms. Allen sustained serious injuries.
Mr. Hauger was transported to to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by the Anderson Township Fire Department. Mr. Hauger sustained serious injuries.
Speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Traffic Safety Unit.
